How to Customize Posts for Each Social Channel [Customize Channel]



The Customize Channel feature in eclincher allows you to easily modify and edit your posts for each social media channel in a single location. Follow the step-by-step guide below to learn how to customize your posts for different social channels:

Start by accessing the Publishing and Scheduling area and enter the social media profiles you wish to publish to.



Enable the Customize Channel toggle to begin editing and modifying your posts for each attached social media profile.



Click on the Customize Channel box, and you will see different tabs corresponding to each social media profile you have connected, along with a main tab. The main tab allows you to enter a general text that will be used for all the social media profiles.



Navigate through each designated tab for each social media platform to edit your content, including any media attachments, and mention specific social profiles in accordance with the respective platform's posting guidelines.

You will see a green dot for each tab where changes have been made, indicating that the modifications have taken effect.



(Once a channel tab is green, any changes made in the main tab will no longer apply to the channels that have a green dot.)

When scheduling your posts, each social media profile will receive an individual post in your calendar. You can schedule the posts or publish them immediately. If you choose to schedule the posts, you will have the flexibility to select different schedules for each social media profile or page.



Note: If you have a WordPress.com or WordPress.org account selected along with other social media profiles on different platforms, the Customize Channel function will be automatically enabled. This is because WordPress supports RTF (Rich Text Format).
