Enabling Push Notifications for YouTube Shorts and Facebook Stories
You can schedule YouTube Shorts and Facebook Stories using eclincher! To publish these types of content, you need to enable publishing to YouTube and Facebook in your eclincher mobile app. Follow the steps below to enable Push Notifications for YouTube and Facebook:
For iOS and Mobile/Tablet Web Browser:
Visit app.eclincher.com and log in. If it's your first time using the new app and you haven't added it to your home screen, you can do so and save your login details for seamless future logins.
Tap the burger icon (Menu) in the top-right corner. Select "Add & Manage Accounts" and scroll down to your YouTube/Facebook account. Check the box that says "Enable this device to publish video."
For iOS devices, SMS verification is required. Enter your phone number and tap "Verify SMS now." Once you receive the verification code, enter it and click Save.
(Note: iOS devices currently do not support Push and Web Notifications. You'll receive notifications via SMS.)
Once completed, you'll see a checkmark in the checkbox, and your phone number will indicate that you've successfully enabled push notifications for your YouTube/Facebook account. Finally, tap "Save Changes."
For Android and Mobile/Tablet Web Browser:
Visit app.eclincher.com and log in. If it's your first time using the new app and you haven't added it to your home screen, you can do so and save your login details for seamless future logins.
Once added to your home screen, tap and hold the eclincher mobile app icon, then select "Site Settings." Tap the "Clear & Reset" button.
Go back to your eclincher app. Allow the notification for eclincher news and updates. Once allowed, tap the burger icon (Menu) in the top-right corner. Select "Add & Manage Accounts" and scroll down to your YouTube/Facebook account. Check the box that says "Enable this device to publish video." Unlike iOS, Android devices do not require verification. Finally, tap "Save Changes."
Important Note to Remember:
Make sure you have the official YouTube/Facebook app installed on your mobile device, and you are logged in with the correct account.
Once you've completed these steps, you can now schedule YouTube Shorts and Facebook Stories! You can also use Push Notifications for scheduled posts if you want to use backgrounds on your posts.
