How to Setup Auto Post with RSS

Automate your content strategy by connecting your favorite blogs and websites directly to your social media profiles. With Auto Post RSS, Eclincher will monitor your chosen feeds and publish new content automatically.

Navigate to Auto RSS

  1. On your left-hand sidebar menu, look under the PUBLISH section and click on Auto RSS.

Configure Your Feed Details

  1. Once you are in the Connect RSS Feed window, fill out the following information:
  • Select Feed Type: Choose the source type (RSS/Atom, WordPress, YouTube, etc.).
  • Enter Feed URL: Paste the link to the RSS feed or website.

Customize Posting Logic & Automation

  1. Before saving, refine how the automation behaves:
  • Check Frequency: Use the dropdown to decide how often the system checks for updates (e.g., every 24 hours).
  • Post Volume: Choose whether to publish 1, 2, or 3 posts whenever new content is found.
  • Prepend/Append Text: (Optional) Add a standard intro or outro (up to 180 characters) to every post, such as "Check out our latest blog:" or specific hashtags.
  • Instant Activation: You can toggle the switch to turn "ON" auto post immediately. If enabled, the most recent article will be published within 1–2 minutes of saving.

Save Your Feed

  1. Once you are satisfied with the settings, click the pink Save button at the bottom left.

Manage Your Automated Feeds

  1. After saving, you will be taken to the Auto Post with RSS dashboard. Here you can:
  • Toggle On/Off: Use the pink slider to pause or resume the automation at any time.
  • Monitor Activity: View "Last sampled" and "Last published" timestamps to ensure your feed is active.
  • Edit or Delete: Use the pen icon to update settings or the trash icon to remove the feed entirely.

Things to Keep in Mind

Please note that not all RSS feed content is supported by every social platform. The content you wish to publish must meet the specific Media Setting Guidelines for each platform to ensure smooth publishing.

Curating content from trusted sources keeps your audience engaged, and Eclincher’s RSS/Atom Feeds feature helps you automate and simplify that process.
