Enable Push Notifications for Instagram, IG Publishing via Mobile Device, and Connect Mobile Device

We are thrilled to announce the official release of the new eclincher mobile app to publish using Push Notifications.

Kindly visit app.eclincher.com using your iOS or Android phones and even tablets through the web browsers of your choice.

Why do I need to enable Instagram publishing with my mobile device?

Enabling Instagram publishing with your mobile device allows you to:

- Post media to your Instagram user/personal account.
- Publish IG Stories.
- Receive push notification reminders on your mobile device at the scheduled publishing time.
- Utilize the Push Notification process for GIFs. Please note that Instagram does not natively support GIFs, so when posting GIFs through eclincher, they will be posted as static images. It's recommended to convert GIF images to videos for optimal results.

To enable your Instagram accounts through the new eclincher mobile app using a web browser on iOS and Android devices, follow these instructions:

For iOS (Mobile/Tablet Web Browser):

Visit app.eclincher.com and log in. If it's your first time using the new app, you can add it to your home screen for seamless future log-ins.

iOS Browser

Tap the burger icon (Menu) on the top-right, select "Add & Manage Accounts," and scroll down to your Instagram Profile.
Tap the checkbox that says "Enable push notification to publish Story/GIF with this device."
iOS devices require verification via SMS. Enter your phone number and tap "Verify SMS now." Once you receive the code, enter it and click "Save".

iOS Enable Push Notification

Once completed, a checkmark will appear in the checkbox, and your phone number will be displayed as an indicator that you've successfully enabled push notifications for this Instagram profile.

Finally, tap "Save Changes."

iOS Save Changes

When creating a post, you will be prompted to allow push notifications. Please tap "Allow" on the prompt.

Android Browser

Once added to your home screen, tap and hold the eclincher mobile app, then select "Site Settings." Tap the "Clear & Reset" button.

Android Clear & Reset

Return to the eclincher app. You should see a notification requesting permission for eclincher news and updates. Allow the notification. Then, tap the burger icon (Menu) on the top-right, select "Add & Manage Accounts," and scroll down to your Instagram Profile.
Tap the checkbox that says "Enable push notification to publish Story/GIF with this device." Unlike iOS devices, Android devices do not require verification.
Finally, tap "Save Changes."

Important note to remember:
You need to have the official Instagram app installed on your mobile device and be logged in to the correct Instagram account.

Once you have completed these steps, you can publish to your Instagram personal accounts or post multiple images (Carousel) to your Instagram Business accounts.
