Enabling iOS Push Notifications for iOS 16.4 and higher on Eclincher

Stay on top of your scheduled posts by setting up push notifications on your iOS device. This guide walks you through installing the Eclincher app on your home screen and enabling push notifications so you never miss a publishing reminder.

What you need before you start:

• An iPhone or iPad running iOS 16.4 or higher
• Safari browser (recommended for iOS)
• An active Eclincher account

1. Open Eclincher in Your Browser

• On your iOS device, open Safari
• Go to app.eclincher.com
• Tap the Share button located in the browser footer (the box with an arrow pointing upward)

2. Add Eclincher to Your Home Screen

• From the Share menu, tap Add to Home Screen
• Confirm the name and tap Add
• Close the browser once the icon has been added

3. Open the App and Allow Notifications

• Locate the Eclincher icon on your home screen and tap to open it
• A prompt will appear asking permission to send notifications
• Tap Allow to enable push notifications

4. Open the Menu and Go to Manage Accounts

• In the top right corner of the app, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines)
• Select Manage Accounts

5. Enable Push Notifications for a Profile

• Find and select the Instagram or YouTube profile you want to enable push notifications for
• Check the box next to the option that says Enable push notification to publish
• This activates push notifications for that specific profile

6. Schedule a Post Using Push Notification

• When creating a new post, select the Use Push Notification option before scheduling
• This tells Eclincher to send you a push notification when it is time to publish

7. Receive the Notification and Publish

• At the scheduled time, a push notification will appear on your iOS device
• Tap the notification to open the app and complete the publishing process

Missed a Notification?

No problem. If you accidentally dismissed a notification, you can find it again by opening the Notifications dropdown inside the Eclincher app. All pending publishing reminders will be listed there for easy access.
