iOS Push Notification (For iOS 16.4 and higher)
Enabling iOS Push Notifications for iOS 16.4 on Eclincher
Follow these steps to enable iOS push notifications for iOS 16.4 on Eclincher:
On your mobile device, open a web browser and go to the eclincher login page: https://app.eclincher.com. Then, tap on the share button located in the browser footer.
From the share menu, select "Add to Home Screen" and then close the browser.
Locate the "ec" icon on your device's home screen and open the eclincher application. A popup will appear, requesting permission for the eclincher app to send notifications. Tap on the "Allow" option.
In the top right corner of the app, tap on the burger menu (three horizontal lines) and select "Add & Manage Accounts."
Choose the relevant Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube profile/page for which you want to enable push notifications and check the checkbox next to it.
- If you had previously enabled the device to receive text messages and want to switch to push notifications, go to "Add & Manage Accounts" in the mobile app, uncheck the "Enable push notification to publish…" option, and then check it again to reconnect your device ID.
You can now schedule a post and select the "Use Push Notification" option.
When it's time to publish the post, you will receive a push notification on your iOS device.
Note: You can always view any missed push notifications by accessing the "Notifications" dropdown.
