Local SEO - Get Found

Boost Your Business Ranking with Local SEO

Have you ever noticed that Google shows different search results for "Restaurants" depending on whether you're at home or at work? This is because Google aims to provide you with restaurant suggestions that are convenient for your location.

Local search has been an important aspect for years, but with the rise of mobile internet, Local SEO has become a crucial marketing foundation for local businesses that offer services or products to their immediate communities.

What is Local SEO?

Local SEO allows you to assess and improve your business's ranking in proximity to your target audience. It provides insights into your current local ranking and offers a glimpse into your competitors' rankings as well.

How to Access Our Local SEO Feature and Discover Your Business Rankings

You can utilize our Local SEO Geodata finder to determine the ranking of your business within your specific area. Follow these steps:

Click on the "Add-Ons" icon located on the left sidebar of your eclincher dashboard.

Select "Local SEO - Get Found" from the options.

Adding Your Businesses and Tracking Competitors

To track your business rankings and even monitor your competitors, you need to add the relevant information:

Click the "Add Business" button at the upper right part of the page. If this is your first time adding a business, you can also click the "+Add Business" button within the table.

A pop-up box will appear, asking if you want to add a business from your Google My Business (GMB) accounts in eclincher or search for one using Google Search.

- For GMB accounts, choose "Google My Business" and select the desired profile from the dropdown list.

- For Google Search, enter the business name, and suggested businesses will appear below. Click on the appropriate business to select it.

Tip: You can track your competitor's Local SEO rankings using this feature too.

Adding Business Searches

To add a grid and perform searches for your business, follow these steps:

Click on one of your businesses listed under "My Businesses" to access the grid view.
Next to the selected business, click on one of the "Add Search" buttons in the table.

In the "Add Search" page, you can enter search terms to compare your businesses. Set the radius or grid to determine the scope of the comparison.

In the example below, "coffee" is entered as the keyword. The left-side map displays your business's ranking in different areas based on the grid settings.

The right-side map highlights the businesses included in the rankings for the selected area. You can click on the businesses to check their locations and addresses.
