Troubleshooting Facebook Page Direct Messages and Comments



If you're experiencing issues with receiving Facebook page direct messages or comments, follow these steps to resolve the problem:

Ensure that your Facebook account is properly subscribed to the webhook API for Facebook. This API allows eclincher to receive inbox items on behalf of your Facebook account. To subscribe your account correctly, you need to renew your tokens or permissions. Here's how:

- Open the "Add and Manage Accounts" section in eclincher.
- Click on "RENEW TOKENS" for the Facebook account you use to manage the Facebook page.

Renew Tokens

Check the settings of your Facebook Page to ensure that no other app is prioritized for managing the page inbox. Follow these steps:

- Go to the Facebook Page's Settings.
- Navigate to ADVANCED MESSAGING -> APP SETTINGS -> CONFIGURE.

- Verify that no app is prioritized. Both the PRIMARY and SECONDARY RECEIVER should have nothing selected (default setting).
