Introducing Instagram Direct Messages on eclincher

With the latest Messenger API integration for Instagram, eclincher users can now access and manage Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) directly from the platform, making it easier than ever to engage with your audience. This new feature enhances the workflow for social media managers, enabling seamless communication and boosting productivity.

Key Features of Instagram Direct Messages on eclincher:



Reply to direct messages from your audience within the eclincher platform.
Respond to mentions in Instagram Stories effortlessly.

How to Add Instagram DMs to the eclincher Inbox



Step 1: Set Up Instagram on Your Mobile App

Open your Instagram app and tap the hamburger menu in the top right corner.
Navigate to Settings > How others can interact with you.
Select Messages and story replies.
Tap on Messages Controls.
Under Connected Tools, toggle Allow Access to Messages.



Step 2: Enable Instagram DMs on ecclincher

Ensure your Instagram Business profile is connected to eclincher.
Navigate to the Inbox section within your eclincher dashboard.
Use the Profile filter to select your Instagram account, and apply the Type filter to access Instagram Direct Messages in your Inbox.



Supported Types of Instagram Direct Messages:



1. Regular Direct Messages:

Receive and reply to regular direct messages from users.
You have up to 7 days to reply to a DM



2. Mentions in Instagram Stories:

Get notified when someone mentions you in their Instagram story.
Respond directly from the eclincher Inbox.
You have 7 days to reply to mentions.



3. Replies to Your Instagram Story:

Stay informed when someone replies to your story.
Reply directly through the eclincher platform.
Replies must be sent within 7 days.
