Recreate Facebook Tokens or Permissions
Resetting Permissions for Facebook and Instagram Business Accounts in eclincher
At times, eclincher may not have sufficient permission to manage your Facebook and Instagram Business accounts. You can identify this issue if you're trying to add a Facebook page or an Instagram Business account, but it doesn't appear in the list even after updating or renewing your tokens. Follow these steps to reset the permissions:
Recreate Your Account Token for Facebook
Open a new tab in your web browser and log in to the Facebook user account that manages the affected Facebook Page or Instagram Business account added in e-clincher.
Open the Settings & Privacy menu and click on Settings.
Navigate to Security and Login and click on Business Integrations. Locate the e-clincher app and remove it. Note: When prompted, do not select the option to delete posts.
Return to eclincher, open "Add & Manage Accounts", and renew the access token for both Facebook and Instagram Business.
