How to Add a First Comment to Your Instagram Business or Creator Posts
Eclincher makes it easy to automatically add the first comment on your Instagram Business posts. This is a great way to keep your captions clean and organized while still including hashtags, links, or extra details right below your post. Here is how to get started:
- Create a New Instagram Post
Go to New Post and start putting together your Instagram content. Upload your images or videos and write the caption you want to appear with your post.
- Add Your First Comment
After writing your caption and selecting the Instagram profiles you want to publish to, scroll down to find the "Add 1st Comment" box. This is where you can type what you want to appear as the first comment when your post goes live. You can include:
- Hashtags to keep your caption clean and help more people find your post
- Links (note that they will not be clickable, but users can still copy them)
- Additional information or context that did not make it into the main caption
You can also use the Suggested Hashtags feature to get ideas based on your topic. When you are done, click Save.
- Schedule or Post Now
You can confirm your first comment was saved by checking the "Add 1st Comment" button. It will be highlighted in green when everything is set.
- Check Your Post
After the post goes live, the first comment will appear directly under your Instagram post. Head over to Instagram to verify that everything looks exactly the way you want it.
