Auto post with RSS

RSS Feeds Automation

Eclincher's RSS feeds automation feature lets you manage all your favorite websites and blog feeds from one convenient dashboard. Instead of jumping between multiple sites to stay up to date, everything is organized in one place.

RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, is a web feed that delivers website updates in a standardized format that both users and applications can easily read and use.

With Eclincher, you can gather, organize, and stay current on RSS feed content through a clean and easy-to-use dashboard. You can also automatically publish or curate new blog posts and website articles directly to your managed social media profiles.

How to Set Up Auto Post with RSS

Auto Post with RSS allows you to automatically publish content from a website or blog to your preferred social media profiles. Follow these steps to get started.

  1. Go to Auto RSS: From the left menu panel of your Dashboard, click on Auto RSS.

  1. Add an RSS Feed: If this is your first time setting up a feed, move on to Step 3. If you already have an existing RSS feed, click the Add RSS Feed button to add another one.

  1. Connect your feed: Fill in the following details to connect your RSS feed:

  • Select Source Feed. Paste the website URL into the Feed URL box. Eclincher will automatically detect the RSS feed for you.
  • Choose a social media profile. Select the profile where the posts should be published.
  • Set the frequency. Choose how often Eclincher should check the RSS feed for new content, either every 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, or 24 hours. You can also set the maximum number of posts to publish at a time, up to 3.
  • Add custom text. Use the Prepend option to add text at the beginning of each post, or the Append option to add text at the end.
  • Enable auto-posting. Make sure auto-posting is turned on. Once enabled, the most recent RSS post will be published automatically within 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 3: Connect RSS Feed

  1. Manage Your Feeds with Bulk Actions

  • At any point, you can edit or delete a feed. Use the Bulk Actions icon to select and manage feeds based on your preference.
  • If you are on the Advanced (legacy), Professional, or Enterprise plan, you can also copy all your feeds to any Brand you manage.

Please note: Not all RSS feed content is supported by every social media platform. Content must meet the Media Setting Guidelines in order to be published successfully.
