X (Twitter) Account gets temporarily locked or suspended

Troubleshooting X (Twitter) Post Blocking

If you’ve received an email from X (formerly Twitter) indicating that your post has been blocked and you're encountering specific error messages, don’t worry. Below is a step-by-step guide on what these errors mean and how to resolve them quickly.

Error: 403 - Temporary Account Lock

The message you may see from X (Twitter) states:
To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, this account is temporarily locked. Please log in to https://x.com to unlock your account. code - 326

This error means your X (Twitter) account has been temporarily locked for security reasons, and all posts from eclincher will fail until your account is unlocked. Here’s how to resolve

Steps to Unlock Your X (Twitter) Account:

Log in to your X (Twitter) account.
You will see a message indicating that your account is locked.
Click the Start button to begin the unlocking process.
Enter your phone number (this will be associated with your X (Twitter) account).
X (Twitter) will send you a verification code via text or phone call—wait a few minutes if necessary.
Once you receive the code, enter it and click Submit to unlock your account.
Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folders) for any additional instructions from X (Twitter), as they may send further information to your email address.

If you continue to experience issues, you can contact the X (Twitter) Support team (here)[https://help.x.com/en/forms/account-access/reactivate-my-account].

Error: 403 - Account Suspension

The message you may receive from X (Twitter) states:
_Your account is suspended and is not permitted to access this feature. code - 64.

This error means that your account has been suspended, which blocks all posts to X (Twitter) from eclincher. Suspensions typically occur due to spam, security concerns, or violating X (Twitter) rules.

Steps to Unsuspend Your X (Twitter) Account:

Log in to your X (Twitter) account. You may be asked to confirm your phone number or email address.
If there are no prompts, your account may have been suspended due to a violation of X (Twitter) rules. In this case, you will need to submit an appeal directly to X (Twitter) (here) [https://help.x.com/en/forms/account-access/appeals/redirect].

Preventing Future Locks or Suspensions

To prevent your account from being locked or suspended again, follow these best practices:

Secure Your Account: Ensure that your account is protected by reviewing X (Twitter)’s security guidelines (here)[https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-rules].
Familiarize Yourself with X (Twitter) Rules: Make sure to follow X (Twitter)’s rules and policies to avoid any violations. You can review them (here)[https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-rules].
Avoid Duplicate Tweets: Posting identical tweets across multiple X (Twitter) profiles can lead to suspensions. Instead, use eclincher’s repost function for other profiles. If you want to post original content, choose one specific X (Twitter) account per post and customize your posts accordingly. We recommend using one-time queues rather than recycle or end-date queues for unique content creation.
