Deleting posts
A Simple Guide to Removing Posts in Eclincher
Deleting posts in Eclincher is a quick and easy process. This guide covers how to remove posts from the Calendar, List View, Draft Folder, Auto Post Queues, and the Post Approval list.
Deleting Scheduled Posts
You can delete scheduled posts from the Calendar, List View, Draft Folder, or Post Approval list using either of the two methods below.
Option 1: Using the Trash Icon
- Go to New Post and click on the Scheduled Posts tab.
- If you are in Calendar view, select a date to display the scheduled posts for that day. If you are in List View, Draft Folder, or Post Approval, scroll to find the post you want to remove.
- Click the trash icon next to the post.
- Choose whether to delete all scheduled instances of the post or only specific future ones.

Option 2: Using the Three Dot Menu
- Find the post you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot icon next to it.
- Select whether to delete only the selected instance or all future instances of that post.

Deleting Posts from Auto Post Queues
If the post you want to remove is part of an Auto Post Queue, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Auto Post.
- Decide whether you want to remove the post entirely from the queue or adjust its scheduled time.
- Open the queue that contains the post.
- Click the three-dot icon next to the post and select Delete Post. If the same post appears in multiple queues, you will need to delete it from each queue individually.

To delete multiple posts at once, check the box next to each post you want to remove, then click the three-dot icon aligned with the Queue name and select Delete Post from the bulk actions menu.

Important Things to Know
- Published posts cannot be deleted from the Calendar or List View. If you need to remove a past post, you can do so through Live Feeds, which is available for Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Posts in Auto Post with Queues can only be deleted from within the Auto Post with Queues section. They will not appear as deletable from other areas of the platform.
