Deleting posts
Deleting Posts: A Step-by-Step Guide
Deleting posts in Eclincher is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to delete posts from various sections, including the calendar, list view, draft folder, Auto Post queues, and Post Approval list.
Deleting Scheduled Posts
You can remove scheduled posts from the Calendar, List View, Draft Folder, or Post Approval list by following the steps below:
Option 1: Using the Trash Icon
- Go to the Scheduled Posts tab under Publishing and Scheduling.
- If you're in Calendar view, select a date to display the scheduled posts for that day.
In List View, Draft Folder, or Post Approval, scroll to locate the post.
- Find the post you want to delete and click the trash icon next to it.
- Choose whether to delete all scheduled posts or only specific future scheduled times.

Option 2: Using the Three Dot Menu
- Locate the post you want to delete.
- Click the three dot icon next to the post.
- Select whether to delete only the selected instance or all future instances of the post.

Deleting Posts from Auto Post Queues
To delete posts from Auto Post queues, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Auto Post.
- Decide whether to remove the post entirely from the queue or simply edit its scheduled time.
- Select the queue containing the post you want to delete.
- Locate the post in the queue and click the "three-dot icon" next to it. Then, click Delete Post. If the post appears in multiple queues, you will need to delete it individually from each queue.

To delete multiple posts at once, tick the checkbox next to each post, click the "three-dot icon" aligned with the Queue name, and select Delete Post from the bulk actions.

NOTE:
- Published posts (past) cannot be deleted from the Calendar / List view. You can delete past posts from Live Feeds (Facebook and LinkedIn).
- Posts from queues can be deleted only from the Auto Post Queue.
