Finding Channel ID and Playlist ID for YouTube Auto Post RSS


If you’re looking to set up Auto Post RSS for your YouTube account, you’ll need the Channel ID and Playlist ID. Follow the steps below to find these IDs for your own YouTube account or for other YouTube channels.


For Your Own YouTube Account:


Step 1: Sign in to YouTube
  1. Go to YouTube and sign in to your account.


Step 2: Access Settings
  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  1. In the left-hand menu, click on Advanced Settings.

  1. Your Channel ID will be displayed on the Advanced Settings page.

For Other YouTube Channels:


Step 1: Access the YouTube Channel
  1. Go to the YouTube channel whose Channel ID you want to find.


Step 2: View Page Source
  1. Right-click anywhere on the channel’s page and select View Page Source from the context menu.



Step 3: Search for RSS URL
  1. Press Ctrl + F to open the search bar.
  2. Type rssUrl into the search box.
  3. You’ll find the RSS URL highlighted in the source code. Copy the RSS link.



  1. Paste the copied URL into the designated field on your RSS tool or Eclincher.



Finding the Playlist ID


Step 1: Navigate to the Playlist
  1. Open the playlist you want to retrieve the Playlist ID from.



Step 2: Locate the Playlist ID in the URL
  1. Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The Playlist ID is the string of characters after list= in the URL




Step 3: Copy the Playlist ID
  1. Copy the Playlist ID and paste it into the designated field in your RSS tool or Eclincher.
Add https://youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?playlist_id= before your playlist ID
