How to Customize Posts for Each Social Channel [Customize Channel]

The Customize Channel feature in eclincher empowers you to tailor your posts for each social media platform from one central location. This is a great way to ensure that your content is optimized for the unique requirements of each channel. Follow the guide below to customize your posts efficiently:

Access Publishing and Scheduling
Begin by accessing the Publishing and Scheduling section of eClincher. From here, enter the social media profiles you plan to publish to.



Enable the Customize Channel Feature
Toggle the Customize Channel option to start editing and modifying your posts for each individual social media profile you’ve selected.



Customize Posts for Each Social Channel
Click on the Customize Channel box. You will notice tabs for each of your connected social media profiles. The Main Tab allows you to enter general text that can apply to all the profiles, but you can make channel-specific edits in the respective tabs.



Modify Content for Each Social Channel
For each social media platform, navigate through the tabs to adjust the text, media, and mentions according to the specific requirements of the platform.

Example:

For Facebook: Add mentions, links, and media attachments to fit Facebook's post format.



For X (Twitter): Shorten the message and include relevant hashtags, mentions, and media optimized for X.



Review Modifications
A green dot will appear on each tab where changes have been made, indicating that those modifications have been saved for that specific channel.



Note: Once a channel tab turns green, any further changes made in the Main Tab will no longer apply to those channels

Step 6: Schedule or Publish Your Posts
Once your customizations are complete, you can either schedule your posts or publish them immediately. If you choose to schedule, you can set different posting times for each profile or page, giving you maximum flexibility in your scheduling strategy.

Special Case: WordPress Customization

If you're publishing to WordPress.com or WordPress.org alongside other social media platforms, the Customize Channel feature will be automatically enabled since WordPress supports Rich Text Format (RTF). This ensures your posts are correctly formatted for WordPress.
