Tailor Your Content for Every Platform from One Place

Every social media platform has its own style, audience, and formatting requirements. The Customize Channel feature in Eclincher makes it easy to adjust your posts for each platform without having to create separate posts from scratch. You can manage everything from one central location and make sure your content looks and feels just right on every channel.

How to Use the Customize Channel Feature

Step 1: New Post

Open the New Post section in Eclincher and select the social media profiles you want to publish to.

Step 2: Enable the Customize Channel Feature

Toggle on the Customize Channel option. This activates the per-channel editing mode, allowing you to make individual adjustments for each profile you have selected.

Step 3: Open the Customize Channel Box

Click on the Customize Channel box. You will see a tab for each of your connected social media profiles. The Main Tab is where you can enter general text that applies across all profiles. From there, you can switch to any individual channel tab to make platform-specific edits.

Step 4: Adjust the Content for Each Platform

Navigate through each channel tab and customize the text, media, mentions, and any other details to suit the specific requirements of that platform. Here are a couple of examples:

• Facebook. Add mentions, links, and media attachments that fit Facebook's post format and audience expectations.

• X (Twitter). Shorten the message, include relevant hashtags, and optimize media for X's format and character limits.

Step 5: Check for Confirmation

After making changes to a channel tab, a green dot will appear on that tab to confirm that your customizations have been saved for that specific platform.

Step 6: Schedule or Publish Your Posts

Once all your customizations are in place, you can publish your posts immediately or schedule them for later. You also have the flexibility to set different posting times for each profile, giving you full control over your publishing strategy.

Special Case: WordPress

If you are publishing to WordPress.com or WordPress.org alongside other social media platforms, the Customize Channel feature will turn on automatically. This is because WordPress supports Rich Text Format (RTF), so Eclincher enables customization by default to make sure your content is formatted correctly for WordPress.
