Post Failure or Non-Publication on Google My Business Page

If you have experienced a failed or non-published post on your Google My Business account or location, there are a couple of possible reasons for this issue. Please review the following information:

Ensure Proper Permissions: Make sure that the person responsible for publishing and scheduling posts on Google My Business has the appropriate role assigned. Only users designated as Primary owner, Owner, Manager, or Communications Manager have the necessary permissions. You can configure these settings in the Google My Business Settings popup.

Multiple Locations Limitation: If you have more than nine locations on Google My Business, please note that the API does not currently support publishing for accounts with more than nine locations. Google's API currently has a limit of up to nine locations for posting. Please refer to the following FAQ from the Google My Business partners API page:

Q: Who is allowed to post through the API?
A: Any business or brand with fewer than 10 locations (as determined by our internal chain detection) can use the API to post on Google. Brands with >= 10 locations are not eligible for posting at this time.
